Obituary James Edwin Supalla, age 82, passed away July 18, 2020 at Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna. Jim was born in 1938 to parents Herman and Evelyn (Kaska) Supalla in East Pleasant Plain, IA. He graduated from New Richland High School in 1956. He married Judith Olson in 1961. Jim worked at various implement dealerships around New Richland until starting Supalla Equipment on his own. Jim later sold the business and continued to work in the industry at the John Deere dealership in Owatonna until his retirement. Jim enjoyed fishing, getting together with friends and family, woodworking, and yearly trips to Florida. Jim is survived by daughter, Carol (John Arens) Supalla, Austin, MN, granddaughter, Lora (Isaac) Skelton, Brownsdale. Harold (Marlene) Supalla, Rose (Rich) Olson, Pat (Ted) Oenning, Dennis (Lola) Supalla, Roger (Deb) Supalla, Alan Supalla, Curt (Margaret) Supalla, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, wife Judith; parents; son Brad; brothers, Tom and Ed. A visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church (810 Cedar Ave. South Owatonna, MN). Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11:00 A.M. followed by mass at 11 A.M. and burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. There will be a Knights of Columbus rosary recited at 9:45 am at the church.
