Harriet’s Obituary Harriet “Jackie” Schlueter, 90, of Gibbon died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Glenfield Living with Care in Glencoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. Willibroard’s Catholic Church in Gibbon with Father Bruno Santiago celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 9 – 11 AM Saturday,August 1, 2020 at church on Saturday. Jackie is survived by her children, Steve Schlueter of Cross Lake, Sue Schlueter of Shakopee, Bill Schlueter of St. Francis, Chris (Wayne) Amundson of Tollhouse, California, Dave Schlueter of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lisa Gieselhart of Duluth. Joe (Ceil) Schlueter of Tacoma, Washington, Mark (Mary) Schlueter of Niceville, Florida, John (Beverly) Schlueter of Granbury, Texas and Rick (Rene) Schlueter of Shakopee; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and by her sister Virginia Heidmann of Gaylord. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elton ‘Bud’ Schlueter; grandson, Grant Gieselhart and daughter-in-law, Glenda Schlueter. Harriet Jaqueline Halvorson was born March 7, 1930 in New Ulm to Herman and Helen (Biebl) Halverson. She was united in marriage to Elton Schlueter on November 26, 1946 at St. Willibroard’s Catholic Church in Gibbon. They resided in Gibbon where they raised ten children. Jackie was also employed at 3M and Winthrop Golf Course and also volunteered as a driver for Trailblazer Transit. She was a member of St. Willibroard’s Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women and the Winthrop Women’s Golf Association. Read More
