1932 -2020 Gabriel “Mike” Silva, age 87, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on July 26, 2020. He was a life-long resident of Socorro, NM, and worked for the City of Socorro for many years until his retirement in 1996. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Plajeres Silva; his son, Lawrence Michael Silva, Sr; his grandson, Kenneth Silva; brothers, Pete, George and Nick Silva; sisters, Vickie S. Gonzalez, Masie Ramon, Emilia Gallegos and Adela Lopez, all of Socorro. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Marquez Silva; daughters, Carol Silva of Socorro, Marie (Leon) Rivera of Belen; son Ruben (Eva) of Socorro; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are no services planned at this time due to Covid restrictions. We will announce any services at a future time.
