Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy M. Splan, 95, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was born on December 14, 1924 to John and Arbella (LaFond) Dixon. Dorothy worked at the De Pere Journal for over 40 years. In 1947 she married Curtis Splan and they spent over 40 years together. Her family was important to her and she loved spending time with them. She is survived by her children, Denese Keup, Jackie (John) Hetrick, and Mark Splan; grandchildren, Zach Patske, Jason (Cindi) Splan, Travis (Amanda) Hetrick, Tiffany Hetrick, Megan Hetrick, and Ashley (Nick) G.; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Diane Meyer, Dan Trumble, Marge Mancheski, and Duane Dixon; and many other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; son-in-law, Norb Keup; her parents; aunt and uncle, Irene and Tony Podlasik; and numerous brothers and sisters.
