Mr. David Morales (BB) Garcia of Goliad, TX, 69 years young, passed away in Victoria County on July 21st, 2020. He was born March 8th, 1951 in Goliad, TX. He married Wilma A. Flores on April 30th, 1970. He lived in Goliad, TX his entire life. He received his high school diploma while serving in the US Army from Seoul American High School in Seoul, Korea. He attended Victoria College after serving in the US Army as a SPC, E4. He continued his military career through his active participation in the US Army Reserves. David worked at the Goliad Feed Lot and HB Zachary where he retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He enjoyed watching and supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s many sporting events. David also enjoyed his daily coffee with friends at the local Dairy Queen. He thoroughly enjoyed visiting Coushatta, watching horse racing, visiting all of his siblings, and Sunday family lunches. He was always known for his punctuality, early nights, caring meticulously for his home & yard and as a friend to everyone. But he especially cherished his daily “Dada Duties” with his Brantley. He is survived by his faithful wife of 50 years Wilma Garcia, daughter Veronica Wood (Bruce) of Victoria, daughter Erika Barraza (Johnny) of Goliad and son David Michael (Stephanie) of Houston. Grandchildren Kyle, Krista, (his “Beautiful Granddaughter”), Jonathon, Brayley & Brantley and great grandchildren Ashton & Grayson. His siblings Estella Baladillez (Luis Ortiz), Gasper “Pie” Garcia (Juanita), Hilberto Garcia, Delia Vela (Juan), Ramon Garcia (Martha). His In laws Mary G. Flores, William A. Flores (Mary), Mary Ellen “Princess” Flores, Angie Garcia, nieces & nephews, Godchildren, and numerous cousins & friends. David was preceded in death by his parents Martin & Marcelina Morales Garcia, brother Daniel Garcia, grandchildren Sa’Lay & Zane Wood, his father in law Antonio Flores, brother in law Louis Flores, sister in law Rosemary Garcia and God child Hannah Mozisek.
