Beverly Ann Duncan November 08, 1936 – July 27, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Beverly Ann Duncan, 83, of Ferguson, MO passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the National Health Care Nursing Home Center in St. Charles, MO. Beverly was born November 8, 1936 in Macon, MO, the daughter of Daniel Wilmer and Marjorie (Dasch) Smithson. She was united in marriage to Francis “Corky” Duncan on May 27, 1956 in Atlanta, MO. Beverly worked for many years as a teacher’s assistant for the Special School District. After finishing her college degree by taking night classes, she worked as a librarian for St. Louis County. Beverly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson, where she also served as the church librarian. Beverly enjoyed reading more than anything, but she also enjoyed camping and road trips with Corky. Beverly is survived by three children, Laura Ann Martin of St. Charles, MO, Stanley Duncan and his wife Pam of Ferguson, MO, and Philip Duncan of Ferguson, MO; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters Elizabeth Beeson and husband Wayne of Atlanta, MO, and Eleanor Caldwell husband Jack of Mountain View, MO; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband and parents. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Macon, MO. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (please mail to Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home, 301 N. Rubey Macon, MO 63552). One day there will be a cure. Print Obituary
