William’s Obituary Mr. William Russell Kloes, age 70 of Taylor’s Court, Blairsville, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., passed away peacefully on Monday May 25, 2020 at his home following an extended illness. William was born on November 2, 1949 in Ft. Eustis, VA., son of the late William Andrew Kloes & late Dorothy Mae Williams. William was an avid fisherman; he enjoyed time spent outside. He also was a huge fan of any sort of car racing as well as football. William was a member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter; Stephanie Lynn Kloes on November 2, 2016. Survivors include his loving wife & best-friend of 50 years; Judy Kloes of Blairsville, aunt; Linda Cuddihy of Cornelius, NC., brother; Richard Kloes of Davie, FL., step-brother; Mark Kloes of Royston, GA., and one grandchild; Philemon D’Herckers of Blairsville. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Union County Humane Society’s Mountain Shelter (P.O. Box 1252 Blairsville GA 30514) in William’s memory. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
