Obituary MILLBURY – Wesley D. Taft, 76, passed away peacefully on May 2nd, in his home due to a long illness, unrelated to Coronavirus. Wesley was born in Worcester to the late, Frank H. Sr. and Sylvia (Swallow) Taft. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Gail (Brodeur) Taft. His brothers Kent (Pat) Taft of Uxbridge and Calvin Taft of Douglas; his brother-in-law, Ray Brodeur of SC. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends including his very best friends Ken Washwell Sr. and his wife Pam Jordan and also Olga Jordan. Wesley was a lifelong resident of Millbury and a graduate of Millbury High School. He was employed by Harris Ice and Oil, Steelcraft Inc. and Standard Foundry. He enjoyed our many years of camping and was an antique car buff-cruising and going to car shows in his 57 T-Bird. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the VNA of Southern Worcester County/ Care Central VNA and Hospice for their many years of caring for Wesley. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contributions can do so to the Care Central VNA and Hospice 191 Pakachoag Street Auburn, MA 01501. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
