Obituary Vickie L. Pruitt, 55, of Hartford, Illinois passed away at 10:19 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at her home. She was born December 2, 1964 in Granite City, a daughter of the late Clay and Thresia (Richardson) Gray. She was a dietary aide with Eden Village in Glen Carbon and formerly at Foxes Grove in Wood River. Vickie enjoyed her days of sewing and her many travels back to Tennessee to visit family. She cherished her children and grandchildren and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Pruitt of Hartford; her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Sara Pruitt of Roxana; her cherished grandchildren, Carter and Claire Pruitt; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Karen Gray of Moro; sister, Denise Gray of Hartford; nieces and nephews, Greg Smay, Amanda Smay, Claydon Cathorall, Zac Cathorall, Adam and Kelly Lile, Paul and Shelby Lile and Daniel Gray; longtime friend, Leo Tomerlin; special cousin, Rhonda Anderson; lifelong friends, The Zagar family; other extended family and friends. In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by a infant son, Stephen Lee Pruitt. Vickie deserves a beautiful tribute.
