He was born in Chanute, Kansas on Sept. 27, 1973, to parents David and Diana Edwards. He was the second child in a family of four children and could arguably be termed as the most defiant. As a child he was boisterous, high-spirited and intelligent – all traits which stayed with him through his adult life. It was apparent early on that he had inherited his mother’s zany personality, yet he was always his own person. Tony graduated from UT Arlington and went on to make a name for himself in Dallas’ music industry for many years. He was an unabashed music enthusiast with a zest for life, an openness toward people, and an always cheerful personality that endeared him to everyone he met. He had a bigger-than-life personality and sense of playfulness, not to mention a perennial smile that put others at ease. He just had a way of bringing people together. Tony was truly one-of-a-kind and will be missed more than words can say. He is survived by his father and step-mom, David and Lucille Edwards; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Chris Stith; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and DeAngela Edwards; sister and brother-in-law, DeAwna and Darrell Wood; nephews, Scotty Ewing, Levi Edwards and Lane Wood; step-sister and husband, Jennifer and Bryan Marshall; and step-sister, Lisa Longchamps. He also leaves behind many extended family members and countless friends who loved him dearly. Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Diana and his best dog Scout. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Tony to the CF Foundation in honor of Violet Dixon at fightcf.cff.org/goto/ultraviolet A celebration of Tony’s life will be held on June 20, 2020.
