He was born on August 8, 1942 in Borden Springs, Alabama the son of the late James Arthur Hamby and the late Vernie Martin Hamby. He had been the owner and operator of Hamby Trucking and Equipment for thirty years. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Hamby is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Kimberly Sanders & Bob, Jennifer Jordan & Terry and Anita Hamby; a brother, Eric “Toby” Hamby & Debbie; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside and Interment services for Terry Wade Hamby will be conducted on Monday afternoon, May 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. A private visitation for the family will be held on Monday, May 18 at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home.
