Sharon Yvonne Lafuze June 02, 1933 – May 14, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Sharon Yvonne Lafuze, age 86, of Liberty, passed away on May 14, 2020 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Sharon was born on June 2, 1933, and is the daughter of Robert and Mary Davis. On December 9, 1951, she married the love of her life and father of her children, Duane Lafuze. They were blessed with more than 68 years of marriage. Sharon had a passion for music. She was an avid piano player and served as the choir director at Hannas Creek Christian Church as well as Edwards Memorial Methodist Church. She also loved to sew and quilt. In the spring and summer months, she could often be found working in her flower garden. Along with her husband, Duane, Sharon will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Kathy Roach and her husband, Denny, Jill Pavy and her husband, Marvin, and Annette Franklin and her husband, Jim; two brothers, Gary (LuAnn) Davis and Neil (Joy) Davis; two sisters, Donna Stevens and Sandra Wehrley; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Davis; a great grandson, Michael Roach; and two brothers-in-law, Dale Stevens and Darrell Wehrley. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, 1:30pm, with Rev. Scott Bell of Edwards Memorial Methodist Church officiating.
