Winfield Scott Dee, Jr., age 76, of Eatonton, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020. Funeral services for Scott Dee will be private. A native of Charlotte, NC, he was born on June 15, 1943 to the late Winfield Scott Dee, Sr. and the late Mary Florence Carter Dee. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Winfield Scott Dee, III, a daughter, Laura Lynn Marrett and a sister Dorothy Dee Teate. Scott lived at Lake Sinclair for the past 12 years, having moved from Jackson, GA. He was a retired Insurance Agent and a member of Concorde United Methodist Church. Scott is survived by his wife, Bette Hamilton Dee of Lake Sinclair ; a daughter, Kimberly Shadix of McDonough ; two sisters, Mary Hertel of Lilburn and Sherri Dee of Lawrenceville; three brothers; Tom Dee, Sr. of Loganville, Benjamin Dee, Sr.of Hephzibah and John Dee, Sr. of Covington. Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville is in charge of arrangements.
