RICHMOND, Ind. – Sasha J. Chance, age 45, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly Friday, May 22, 2020, at Reid Health. Born February 5, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Philip and Vicki Tackelson Chance, Sasha lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a 1993 graduate of Richmond High School. Sasha formerly worked as a psychiatric attendant at the Richmond State Hospital. She was an extreme coupon clipper. Sasha loved spending time with her friends and family and visiting the dog park. Survivors include her mother, Vicki Muse of Richmond; father, Philip Chance of Lake City, Florida; sisters, Trish Isaacs of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Philicia and Sarah Chance of Memphis; daughters, Precious Bradford of Detroit, Michigan, and Paradise Bradford of Indianapolis; grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends, including her dog and best friend, Brutus. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leland Tackelson and Wanda Tackelson and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Wilda Chance. Visitation for Sasha J. Chance will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Please plan to wear your own mask when entering the funeral home.
