Robert “Bob” Lewis Culpepper, 71, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Bob was born on September 23, 1948 in Thurston Co., WA, to the late Roy Lee Culpepper and Ardith Lavon Pixley Culpepper. He was retired from the Mail Carrier Association. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, a gun collector and a member of the NRA. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, James A. Culpepper. He is survived by his daughter, Nisa Gibbons and husband Randy of Florida; son, Ryan Culpepper of Florida; sisters, Cindy C. Lanning and husband Bobby of Greensboro, Lavonda “Vonnie” C. Housand of Colorado; grandchildren, Jonathan Culpepper and wife Jasmyn, Kimberly Alevis Culpepper, Courtney Culpepper, Matthew Culpepper, Chloe Snyder, Kylee Culpepper, Caitlin Gibbons, Justin Gibbons; great grandchild, Alina Culpepper.
