Paul’s Obituary Paul W. Becker age 82, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 27, 2020. He was born on July 12, 1932 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to William and Irene (Lape) Becker. Paul was a 1956 graduate of Somerset High School. Upon graduation, he moved to Cleveland, OH where he worked for General Motors for 36 years. Paul was the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Sandra Swope for 61 wonderful years together raising their wonderful family. Upon Paul’s retirement they became Florida snowbirds, where he enjoyed golfing as well as many other activities. Everyone knew Paul was always happiest surrounded by and spending time with his beloved family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him! Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Swope) Becker; daughter, Brenda (David) Berchtold; son, Russell W. Becker; brother, James Becker of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; son in law, Brian Kulchar; five grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah (Becker) Kulchar; granddaughter, Sarah Lee Berchtold; and brother, Robert Becker.
