Novella Lee Ashley passed away May 5, 2020 in her home in El Reno, where she was a life long resident. She was born July 26, 1941 in Minco, Oklahoma to Clifton and Lucille Marcom. Novella married Jesse Lee Ashley on August 7, 1959 in Kingfisher, OK; she was a devoted housewife and mother. Novella is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton O. and Lucille Vallie Marcom; husband, Jesse Ashley; two brothers, William Marcom and David Lee Marcom; five sisters, Bertha Marcom, Wilma Rumley, Manilla Polson, Clydelin Epperson, and Opal Jensen. Survivors include her children, Tammie Byrd and husband William of Del City, Jesse Ashley Jr and wife Kimberlee of El Reno, Brenda Kunkle and husband Dave of Del City, Betty Johnson and husband Carl of Del City, Gary Ashley and wife Amy of El Reno, and Billy Ashley and wife Karlena of Del City; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
