Obituary Myrtle L. Crider, 81, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home. She was born in Laytonsville, MD on May 19, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Hayden and Mamie Atkins Whirley. Ms. Crider attended Pleasant Day for a number of years, and the family would like to thank the staff for the amazing dedication and compassion. She is survived by her children Paul Raines, Debbie Reel and husband Dennis, Doug Raines, Alexis Ufkes Gillette and Beth Ufkes, 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Jeannie Whirley and a brother Bobby Whirley and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, Ms. Crider is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Marie Wayne, Ella Etzler, William “Gus” Whirley, Lou Perry and Floyd Whirley Services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pleasant Day Adult Day Care, 2474 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD 21613.
