Michael’s Obituary Michael B. O’Hara, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2020. Born and raised in the Stoney Road section in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of Michael and Mary (Dignan) O’Hara. Michael attended St. Bonaventure’s School and as a young boy loved horses and worked at a horse farm. Mike spent his adult life living in Butler with his wife Pat, raising their three children. He was an accomplished businessman and owner, working as Operations Manager at Barry Transport, owner of Brite Shine Floor Service and owner of MPO Transport. He was a parishioner at St. Anthony’s, and a family man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mike loved to work on his boat the Celebration, was a huge fan of Texas Tech sports and spent many happy winters at Lion’s Lair in the Florida Keys. Mike is survived by his loving daughters, Sandra Ryan and her husband Michael, Lisa Rowe and her husband Paul, son Michael O’Hara and his wife Mary Beth, adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister, Anna Fahy and many nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife, M. Patricia O’Hara, his parents, brothers, Edward and Leo, and sisters, Helen, Marie, Catherine and Elizabeth.
