Maria Elda McPherson September 27, 1949 – May 24, 2020 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card MCPHERSON Maria Elda McPherson, 70 years of age, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in an Alice nursing home. She was born in Freer, Texas on September 27, 1949 to her parents, Adolfo and Diamantina Garcia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed fishing, collecting owls and rocks and especially spending quality time with her family . She will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy McPherson; her parents; a brother, Homero Garcia; and grandson, Freddy DeCoteau. Maria Elda is survived by her three daughters, Darla (Omar) Perez of Hebbronville, Texas; Denise (Ernest) Aguillon of Freer, Texas; Dee Dee McPherson of Freer, Texas; one son, Scotty (Duane) Poor of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Belinda (Benny) Lopez of Monahans, Texas; Linda (Juan) Carreon of Hobbs, New Mexico; Dina (Ross) Grason of Freer, Texas; two brothers, Polo (Corinne) Garcia of Sweet Home, Oregon; Ricky (Alma) Garcia of Hobbs, New Mexico; sister-in-law, Olivia Garcia of Deer Park, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we fill be following all CDC and Government mandates and ask each guest to do so as well. No Service at this time.
