Margie Lee Crockett April 25, 1933 – May 15, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Margie Lee Crockett, 87, of Crisfield, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home. Born in Onancock, VA on April 25, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Travis and Susie Williams Thomas. She was a florist for 36 years and owned the former Em-Par Florist in Crisfield. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and the former Order of the Eastern Star Chesapeake Chapter #28. She loved flowers and gardening. She is survived by two children, Doug Crockett and wife Judy of Crisfield and Lynn Higgs and husband Melvin of Marion Station; a brother, Larry Thomas of Bloxom, VA; a sister, Janice Rogers of Fredericksburg, VA; six grandchildren, Mike Crockett and wife Erin of Salisbury, Carrie Brink and husband Ed of Crisfield, Andy Crockett and wife Kelly of Crisfield, Kristy Ignaccolo and husband Steve of Marion Station, Brad Evans and wife Krista of Manheim, PA, and Melody Evans and husband Eric of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Ally and Justin Greene, Danny and Aiden Brink, Bryson and Sawyer Crockett, Scott and Austin Tyler, Mason Ignaccolo, and Rebekah, Brooke, and Brett Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Orville Thomas, Mary Landon, Charlotte Regan, and Travis Thomas, Jr. A graveside service and interment will be Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 1 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park and will be officiated by Rev. Jim Riley, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Immanuel U. M. Church Memorial Fund, c/o Robert H. Bradshaw, Jr., 306 W.
