Lola’s Obituary Fairmont, MN Private family services are being held for Lola M. Talledge age 78 of Fairmont, MN with a public memorial service to be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Welcome City Cemetery in Welcome, MN. Lola passed away on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020 at her home in rural Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements. Lola Marie (Senne) Talledge was born on July 28, 1941 in Fox Lake Township rural Welcome, MN. She was the daughter of Sylvan and Esther (Baumhoefner) Senne. Lola was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome. She attended District 63 school through the seventh grade and later continued her education at Welcome High School and graduated in 1959. Lola took a business course at Mankato Commercial College and then was employed at National Citizens Bank in Mankato for two years. She married Marvin Talledge on February 11, 1961 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. In 1962 Lola started employment at the Martin County National Bank in Fairmont which is now Profinium Bank. She worked there until her retirement at the end of 2003. Lola was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township, MN as well as Heritage Acres where she was treasurer, secretary and provided many of the meals there. She received the Book of Golden Deeds in 2005. Lola loved to bake and share her talent with friends and family. Lola was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1986 and 1999 which she battled with throughout her life. Left to cherish her memory include her husband Marvin Talledge of Fairmont, MN; children Brenda (Noe) Lopez of Mission, TX, Sharon (Patrick) Hallahan of Hutchinson, MN, and Keith (Becky) Talledge of Roberts, WI; 8 grandchildren Michael (Melinda) Lopez, Cody (Hannah) Hallahan, Brittney (Santiago) Morales, Jackson Hallahan, Cortney (Dylan) McCormick, Carson Talledge, Owen Talledge, and Taylor Talledge; 5 great grandchildren Blake and Lucas Hallahan, Sofia and Leo Morales, Charlie and Franklin McCormick; brother Dean (Katie) Senne, sister-in-law Jean Talledge, brother-in-law Lloyd (Joyce) Clemons, and several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
