Linda’s Obituary Linda Mincey Bailey, 70, of Nichols passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at MUSC Marion Medical Center. She was born in Marion County on January 8, 1950, the daughter of the late Arthur Blake Mincey and Berline Hooks Mincey. Linda was a devoted member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed her fellowship through the church. She worked for many years with the Horry County Clerk of Court’s Office. A proud grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to cook whether it was for her family or her church family. She enjoyed canning vegetables and especially putting up pickles. Linda is survived by a son, Tracy Lynn Parker and his wife, Kelsey of Nichols; a daughter, Stacie Michelle Phillips and her husband, Perry Wayne Phillips of Timmonsville; a brother, Armond Mincey of Nichols; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Preston Phillips, Addison Rebekah Phillips, Tori Kaye Phillips, Bradley Wayne Phillips, Alicia Marie Phillips, Chloe Grace Parker and Graham Powell Parker, one great-grandchild, Sullivan James Bruno and her loyal canine companion, BB. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins with Reverend Randy Conrad officiating. An informal visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour before the service. A family committal service will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.
