Obituary Lessley Junior Fawcett, 80, of Beardstown, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1939 in Table Grove, the son of Lessley, Sr. and Bertha Bellville Fawcett. He married Jane Boehl on July 16, 1983 in Rushville and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Annette Hopkins of Industry, Sandy Fishel of Roodhouse and Kim “Jenna” (Greg) Friedhoff of Chaplin; one son, Lessley “Wayne” Fawcett of Industry; one step-son, Steve (Debra) Smith of Beardstown; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Mary) Fawcett of Havana and Paul (Mary) Fawcett of Frederick; one sister, Susie (Buck) French of Havana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two step-children, Bruce Smith and Janice Jamison; three brothers and three sisters. Mr. Fawcett was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea. He was employed by Caterpillar for over thirty years in the Peoria area. Lessley was a member of Schuyler American Legion Post #4. He loved traveling with Jane and vegetable gardening. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sagerfuneralhome.com.
