Julia (Tootsie) Jones, age 90, of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home. She leaves behind three children, Denise Farris & husband Keith, Paula Jones, and Phillip Jones, all of London; a brother, Ronnie Hinkle & wife Carolyn of London; six grandchildren, Julie Reed, Alisha Jones, Ryan Farris, Tyler Jones, Derek Farris, Jeremy Jones; four great grandchildren, Jonathan Reed, Taryn Reed, Aislynne Reed, Emory Farris, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlow Jones; her parents, Jessie Floyd and Lucy Boone Hinkle; nine siblings, Ellen Williams, Leander Floyd, Muhaska Floyd, Opal Linville, H. E. Hinkle, Odell Hinkle, James Kermit Hinkle, Norma Neeley, and Jewell Hinkle. Julia was a homemaker and was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church. A private funeral service for Julia (Tootsie) Jones will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Delmar Gross officiating. Burial will follow at the Dunn Cemetery in London, KY. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
