Joyce Marie Montgomery, age 82, of Jackson, formerly of Lexington passed away Friday May 29,2020 in Jackson. She was a retired factory worker. She is survived by a daughter; Penny Montgomery of Jackson, 4 grandchildren; Sylina McMurry, Stephanie Tartt, Michael Dodd, and Nic Evans, and 8 great-grandchildren; Briley Dodd, Reagan Tartt, Bailey Dodd, Emma McMurry, Blakely Dodd, Will McMurry, Hayes Tartt, and Blayne Dodd. She was preceded in death by her husband J.W. Montgomery, a daughter, Janie Montgomery, her parents, Arthur and Evola Riley, and 3 sisters, Lavern Walters, Jean Roach, and Modean Smith. Funeral services will be Monday June 1 at 11AM at Reeds Chapel in Lexington with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath Springs.
