Joshua James “Josh” Humphries, age 42, of Sylvan Springs passed away May 7, 2020. He was a member of New Life Worship Center, Sylvan Springs. He loved the study of scripture. Josh loved his family and was a friend to most anyone he met. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a good listener and could empathize with people in crisis. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Humphries. He is survived by his son Justin James Humphries; mother Diane Humphries; brother Chris Humphries (Michelle); sisters Amy Reagan (Rob), and Melissa Pierce (Michael); numerous nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held Monday, May 11, 2020, at 2:00 PM, at Sylvan Springs Methodist Cemetery, with Rev. Bruce Smart and Rev. Gary Smart officiating. Social distancing is still in effect.
