Frisk, 81 year-old Garber resident, is 2:00PM Monday, June 1, 2020 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Gary Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery with military honors. John was born November 5, 1938 in Enid to William A. and O. Marie (Hutchenson) Frisk and died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Integris Hospital. He attended Kremlin schools, graduating with the class of 1956. He then attended Oklahoma A&M. He returned to work on the family farm to help his father. On July 9, 1965, he married Jean Meyer and the couple made their home near Garber where they raised four children. He worked for the Garber CO-Op for 35 years. While in high school, he played basketball and baseball. He was an avid fisherman, coin collector and fossil hunter. He loved his cats. John is survived by his children, Chuck Struble and wife, Vickie of Earlsboro; Bart Struble and wife, Shelli of Garber; Kim McNeil and husband, Travis of Perry; and Becky Lugafet of Edmond as well as nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean in 2018; sister, Bonnie and an infant sister. Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to OMRF (Lung Division).
