Joanne’s Obituary It is with great sadness that Joanne Daneri Greig, age 76, passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2020. Joanne was recently diagnosed with cancer and fought hard to overcome the disease. Joanne was a 50-year resident of Pompton Lakes where she made a loving home for her family and friends. Joanne was employed at the Greig Family carpet business for many years, before becoming an Executive Assistant at The Goldstein Group in Paramus, NJ. Anyone who knew Joanne was immediately drawn in by her upbeat personality and inquisitive nature. Joanne made everyone she met feel like they were the most important person to her, which truly were her genuine and sincere feelings. Joanne enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, bowling, a good glass of Cabernet, her monthly “Club” meeting with her long- time friends and going to Atlantic City with her husband Bob. Joanne was happiest when cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting, dance and musical events. Joanne is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Bob, her loving children and their spouses, Kori & Anthony DeSenzo and Joel and Kristen Greig, and her four adoring grandchildren Jordin, Ethan, Nicholas and Madison. Also surviving are Dorothy & John Presing, Betty & Joseph Greig, Douglas & Alice Greig, Ellen & Robert Cosgrove and numerous nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19, memorial services will be held at a later date. Read More
