Jesús’ Obituary Jesus Serrano Cordero “Speedy”, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He was born June 7, 1944 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas. Although it’s a big loss for the family, we all have so many fond memories of him that will be cherished forever. “Speedy” as he was known by many in El Paso, TX was a good man who was hard working, funny, friendly and laid back. He was a jack of all trades, loved fixing old electronics and always had a tool you could borrow with a spare or two. He would repair anything and everything even if he wasn’t sure of it, but he always tried. His favorite hobby’s ranged from dancing and listening to music while playing his guitar or accordion to sewing & making his own wallets. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife Manuela Serrano. His children and their respective family. Norma L. Gutiérrez, Guadalupe Serrano, María E. Serrano, Hugo Serrano, Virginia S. Pineda, María de los Ángeles Serrano, María Isabel Chávez, Jesús Roberto Serrano, Fernando Serrano and Mario Serrano. A celebration of life will be held privately. We thank all friends near & far for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes.
