Obituary Mr. James Franklin “Frank” Pierce Jr., 62 of Erwin, passed away Sunday May 3, 2020 at his home. Mr. Pierce was born October 1, 1957 to Deema Mae Lovell Pierce and the late James F. Pierce Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Pierce and a sister, Virginia Denmark. Mr. Pierce is survived by his mother, Deema Pierce and Lacy Jackson of Lumber Bridge; his wife of 43 years, Edith Jackson Pierce of the home, daughters, Chasity Locklear of Erwin, Christy Ennis & husband Jason of Erwin, and Jammie Long & husband Mike of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Katelyn, Tristan, Zeah, Caesin, and Brody; sister, Linda Fields & husband Harrison of Dry Ridge, Ky, and “Baby Bird” Wanda Justice. In accordance with current NC COVID 19 Guidelines, the family will receive friends Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the home of Frank & Edie, 207 Pierce Lane, Erwin, NC. The family will hold a private funeral service at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Lucas officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org. Arrangements by Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn.
