Obituary James Edward Bell, son of the Late Brian and Eleanor Bell was born on July 28, 1944 in Springfield, South Carolina. He was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, in Morristown New Jersey. He worked for Labor Union 711 for more than fifteen years and later became a paver for Greik Bros. Paving. There he remained until retiring, He was an active member of Union Baptist Church and The Tabernacle of Faith Family Church under the Leadership of Bishop Joseph E. Woods, and later Pastor Barry Brown. During that time, he ministered in the area of Doorkeeper and Greeter. He later joined Antioch Church of Excellence, under the leadership of his wife (Savannah). James proudly took his place as First man, being active in driving his wife to events associated with Higher Ground Association, under the leadership of Moderator Woods He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry-Clay (Susie, deceased), Allen (Beth Ann), John and Dan (Geneva), Beverly (Liz), Arthur (Dorothy) and daughter Monique Bell. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Savannah Wiggins-Bell of 35 years. His loving children, Brian Bell, Jason (Marlena) Bell and Darrell Wiggins (Jenny). Sister Catherine Bell, Sister-in-Law, Patricia Ann Wiggins, Mother-in-Law, Adella Wiggins, Brothers & Sisters- in-Law, Hebert (Arlene), Alphonso (DiChelle), Miller (Barbara), Jessie (Zsa Zsa), Melvin Wiggins and a close friend, Johnny Drayton. Eleven Grandchildren, Monique Bell, Marcedes & Mark Bell, Lindsey Tucker, Brian Bell Jr. & Harmoney Bell, Jason Bell Jr, & Janelle Monique Bell, LaQuanna Davies (Moonie), Brandy & Mariah and god-daughter Latoya Desnoes. Seven Great-Grandchildren Jayde Bell, Jailynn Wiggins, DeJa Bell, Jamie & James Prester, LeeLand Bell, Mahaila Bell and a host of many other relatives and friends. Services are private. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Even during times of social distancing, anyone who has suffered a loss deserves love and support more than ever before.
