George’s Obituary George Allen Jeffers, 67, of Ashton, WV went to go home with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2020 in The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born April 24, 1953 in Franklin County, Ohio son of the late Charles and Ethel Jeffers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Robert Allen Jeffers; brothers Buck and Bill Jeffers; and sister Ruth Tucker. He is survived by his son Willliam (Billie Jean) Jeffers; grandchildren Sam Reynolds of Ashton, WV and Leia Mayes of Glenwood, WV. brothers Joey, Pete, Paul Ray and Tom Jeffers; sister Donna Bails; several special nieces and nephews; special friends Mark and Becky Plants, Patricia Heaberlin, Kim Munsey, Dewayne Jones; Margaret and Dave Scarberry; and special family Jessicca West, Hannah, Alannia and Jerry Mayes. Also surviving are a host of family members and friends that he loved. Funeral service will be conducted 4 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Mark Mayes officiating. Pallbearers will be David Scarberry, Mark Plants, Allen Plants, Gilbert, Joey and Chris Jeffers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery, Buffalo, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
