Elizabeth Ann Crain, 78, a lifelong Rush County resident, passed away at her home in Rushville on May 17, 2020. She was born June 5, 1941 in Rush County to Eugene Lee & Alma C. (Ketchum) Rankin. Liz was a 1959 graduate of Rushville High School. She married James A. Crain on June 5, 1965 and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2013. Liz retired from Delta Faucet in 2001 after 15 years. She was a longtime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Color Guard, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Rushville Eagles Lodge and Plum Creek Christian Church. Liz is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Mike) Ooley of Rushville, her sons, Jimmy Gene (Bobbi) Crain of Rushville and Eddie B. Crain (Natacia Orme) of Rushville, brothers, Charles E. (Sue) Lee, Kevin Lee, Brian Lee and Mark (Tamara) Moore all of Rushville, a sister, Kelly (John) Kennedy of Rushville and sister-in-law, Patty Lee of Greensburg, her grandchildren, Amijo (Jeff) Luers, Brandon Crain, Drew (Karly) Crain, Austin Crain, Kadin Crain, Nick Ooley and Mindy Sly and her great grandchildren, Riley, Addison, Brynlee, Stella, James, Alivia, Rhett, Sophia, Mia and Ryan. Liz was preceded in death by her parents, husband & a brother, Jerry B. Lee. Services will be private and burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery. Pastor’s Ray Sweet and Dan Denney will preside. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Moster Mortuary, Rushville, entrusted with arrangements.
