Elizabeth Ann (Betty)’s Obituary Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Walter, 64, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2020 in Chicopee, MA. Elizabeth was born in Northampton, Massachusetts to Helene Bateman and Joe Louis Walter on July 13, 1955. She attended Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School in Springfield, MA. She was employed as an assembly worker for Springfield Wire Inc. for many years until the company closed. Betty enjoyed spending time with friends, playing the lottery, and attending family cookouts. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Helene (Bateman) Denson and Joe Louis Walter, and her brother, Ricky A. Walter. Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Tyrone (Carmaris) Denson, nephew Jared Denson, niece Jaida Denson, and a host of step-siblings and cousins. The family would like to thank family and friends who supported Betty and demonstrated their love for her in many ways.
