Obituary Duane D. Mahoney, 65, of Fulton passed away at his home on Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born on November 19, 1954 in Fulton, Missouri to the late Frank E. Mahoney and the late Helen Jean (Mosley) Mahoney. On April 12, 1981, Duane was united in marriage to Cheri (Gilman) Trimble Mahoney. She survives his passing. Duane was a graduate of South Callaway High School. He worked at Harbison Walker and Callaway County Road and Bridge Department. Duane appreciated all nature and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening. His biggest joy was spending time with his best buddies who were his great-grandsons, Tracen and Fallon Trimble. Duane is survived by his wife of 39 years; daughter from his first marriage, Crystal Mae Poe; step-son, Kenny Trimble; grandchildren, Steven Trimble (Lisa Breeden), Elizabeth Poe, and Alex Poe; great-grandsons, Tracen and Fallon Trimble; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by daughter, Melanie Ann Mahoney; brother, Loren Mahoney; and his beloved Grammie, Mae Mahoney. It was Duane’s wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to Mt. Carmel Cemetery, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
