Obituary Doris E. Bonifazi 70, of Arlington Heights died May 2, 2020 at her home of 43 years. Doris “DeeDee” was born December 16, 1949, in Chicago. After raising her three sons, DeeDee enjoyed an active lifestyle. Her hobbies included gardening, tap dancing, tai chi, attending theatrical productions and going to the casino. Most of all she enjoyed quality time with her family, friends and neighbors. Survivors include her sons, Rick Jr. (Stephanie), Dominic (Cyndi) and Rob (Joy); her grandchildren Daniel, William, Emma, Anthony and Mia; her sister Terri (Jay), brother Tommy, brother in law Tom (Gen) and sister in law Nancy; best friends Larry and Char Cioe, Gary Gephart and many cousins, nieces and nephews. DeeDee was preceded in death by her husband Rick of 36 years, and her parents Frank and Mary. She is reunited with the love of her life and will be deeply missed, but her legacy will be carried on by all who were blessed and left with warming memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Memorial Park Fund for a memorial bench in honor of DeeDee and Rick.
