Obituary Dolores (Baumgart) Monts, age 90, of Evansville, IN, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 26, 2020, in Newburgh, IN. Dolores was born May 28, 1929, in Evansville, IN, to Leo and Leona (Hirsch) Baumgart. Dolores graduated from the Academy of Immaculate Conception High School, Ferdinand, IN. She retired as an administrative assistant from the EVSC working for the School of Practical Nursing and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. As an avid reader, Dolores was committed to helping teach others to read. Dolores is survived by her son, Mike “Max” (Marie) Monts; daughters, Becky (Mike) Anoskey, Beverly (John Miller) Monts and Nancy M. Monts; grandchildren, Lachelle, Jill, Shawn, Wesley, Brittney, Zoe, Leo and Jessie; great grandchildren, Felix and Elowen; sisters, Carol Wedding and Judy Filbert; sister-in-law, Darlene Baumgart and brother-in-law, Charlie Ubelhor. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Private Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Bernie Etienne Officiating. With consideration of COVID-19 restrictions, a Live Stream will be available on Facebook search Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Graveside Services will be private with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
