(Paul) Frappier, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI with her daughters by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Frappier. Born in Woonsocket, RI on July 13, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Leo and Dina (Belisle) Paul. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children; Paula-Marie Hogge of Blackstone, MA., Donna-Marie Frappier of Cranston, RI, Tonya-Marie Karabots of East Greenwich, RI, Anne-Marie Young of Bellingham, MA., and the late Tina-Marie Pinsonneault. She also played an important role in the life of David Sherman with whom she served as a second mother. In addition, she was a loving presence in the lives of her daughter and son-in-laws, Lisa Abreau, Joseph Karabots, Gary Young and David Pinsonneault. She was a beloved Grandma to her 11 grandchildren Ashley Hogge, William Karabots, Ana Karabots, Payton Young, Reagan Young, Olivia Young, Lily Frappier, Trenton Prutsman, Eliza Prutsman, Frances Prutsman and Joey Gallagher. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Conrad Paul and wife, Margie of Blackstone, MA, Irene Goranson and sons Wayne and Paul of Blackstone, MA, Cecile Wrobel of Woonsocket, RI., Armand Paul and wife Bea of Florida, and the late Marcel, Leo and Roland Paul. She was a treasured aunt to an abundance of nieces and nephews. Dina was born and raised in Blackstone MA and later resided in Bellingham. In Blackstone she and her husband were the owner/operators of DJ.’s Market for many years which was the place to stop after Sunday Mass at St. Theresa’s Church. She lived in Warwick RI for the past 8 years. Her family was her joy and the most important part of her life. Finding a reason for celebration was the way she chose to live every day. Sunday dinners, Holiday Gatherings, watching a little TV and sharing a good laugh or cry was her definition of “A Wonderful World”, which happened to be her favorite song. She brought joy to friends and family, and lit up a room with her elegance, dignity and kindness. Her smile touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her children would describe her as “Exceptional”. Dina will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Arrangements are private due to current circumstances. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers Dina would like you to do something kind for someone in her honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Cartier’s Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., Bellingham, MA.
