She died peacefully at her son’s home Tuesday, May 12, 2020 surrounded by her children. Her favorite song was “In the Garden.” She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lois Nichols of Camden. She was widowed twice. She was married to the late William E. Reynolds, Sr. of Bethune and to the late Alton (Wayne) Huggins who was from NC. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Clyburn Nichols, Gene Nichols, and Clyde C. Nichols, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Reynolds; sons, William (Billy) Reynolds, Jr. (daughter-in-law, Ariana), Christopher (Chris) Huggins, and Walter (Wally) Huggins (daughter-in-law, Renee). She is survived by a brother, Kenny Nichols (Kimberly) and sister-in-law Sarah Nichols. She had 3 grandsons: Brandon Hall, Caleb Huggins, and William (Willie) Reynolds, III. She had many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed being with family. Her children were her life as well as her grandchildren. She was a Clemson Tiger fan as well as a bingo player. She worked at Little Pat’s Store in Lugoff for a longtime. She loved her 4 legged children as well, leaving her beloved “Buster” behind. Although sickly for the last couple of years, she still had a positive attitude and believed in God. She was a fighter. She was well liked by all – never meeting a stranger. Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
