Debra’s Obituary Debra Kay White, age 64, long-time Belleville resident, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Superior Township, MI. She was born July 29, 2955 in Detroit, MI, daughter of Paul Edgar & Janie Elizabeth (King) Summers. She graduated from Belleville High School Class of 1973. She was a member of the Belleville Moose Lodge #934. She enjoyed cooking, shopping-especially flea markets, yard sales and re-sale shops. She loved tending to her flower gardens and trips to the casinos. Survived by daughter Tammy White of Sumpter Township, MI, two sons: David White of Belleville, MI and James White of Romulus, MI, two grandchildren: Caiden and Abigail White, brother Bill Summers of Belleville, MI, sister-in-law and special friend: Nancy Summers of Belleville, MI, also numerous extended family and friends. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, husband David “Bill” White August 25, 1997, brother George Summers, also two sisters: Sue Vanover and Lorine Copley. Visitation will be 1-4 PM Friday, May 15, 2020 with a Private Family Only Funeral at 4:00 PM at David C. Brown Funeral Home, 460 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, MI 48111 (734)697-4500. Brother Joe Watkins will officiate. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, there is a limit of ten (10) people in the building at one time. Masks, scarves or bandanas are required inside the building. Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family and would be appreciated.
