Obituary Deadra “Monique” Greer was born on June 13th, 1972 to Juan “Johhny” Brown, and Deadra “Dee-Dee” Daniels in San Diego, California. At a young age, Monique along with her family moved to Los Angeles, California. She received her education in the Los Angeles Unified and San Diego Unified School Districts. She continued her education in medical coding and billing and went on to pursue her career at Sharp Hospital and the Physician’s Registry. Eventually, Monique went on to work for Coverall for over 10 years, which lead her to take a leap of faith and pursue her entrepreneurial dreams of finally becoming “her own boss”. Monique had a passion for helping people and anyone that met her was instantly in love with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. On May 14th, 2020, God, in his infinite wisdom, called Monique home. She will be forever cherished in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Her father Johnny Brown, her paternal grandmother Ellen Brown, and her father in law – Carl Greer all preceded her in death. At the close of a useful and productive life, Monique’s memory will be treasured by her loving husband, Kentry D. Greer; children: Kenesha Greer, Kendra Gray (Kenard), Briana Greer, Lamere “Demitry” Rew, Kentry C. Greer, and Ken’Yan Greer; and 6 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her mother Deadra Daniels; Grandmother Barbara Canada; 2 Brothers – Lamar Brown and Joseph Brown, 3 sisters – Kesha “Brandi” Brown, Summer Brown, and Ashley (Sean) Daniels; Mother – in law Mary Greer, and Sister-in law Katrina Greer along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
