David was born February 20, 1966 in La Marque, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He was a graduate of Alvin High School, worked as an Insulator and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. David had a kind heart, quick wit and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. David is preceded in death by his father, Paul Lopez. David is survived by his mother, Tomasa Lopez; sister, Anita Ruiz and husband Robert; niece, Monica Ruiz; nephew, Scott Ruiz and wife Han; cousin, Chris Kitchens; 5 grand nieces; along with many other extended relatives, cousins and friends. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. and funeral services to follow the Rosary.
