Cynthia’s Obituary Cynthia NeSmith, 57, of Troy, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1962 in Waukegan, IL to Marvin and Maxine (Wilson) NeSmith. Cynthia was raised in Waukegan and Zion, IL along with her siblings: Katherine, Rhonda and Amy. After her formal schooling, she began working at various jobs. During this time, she was blessed with her daughter, Tonya, who was the joy of her life. Cynthia was full of life and loved to ride her Harley Davidson motorcyle and was known by her family as “the Harley Davidson chick”. She had many friends and was always there for others. Her last employment was when she moved to Troy, MO and worked at Bodine Aluminum. Her daughter, Tonya, sadly passed away on Feb. 24, 2020 and she was devastated by this. Surviving are her loving mother, Maxine Buchholtz of Grand Junction, CO; her sisters: Katherine NeSmith, Rhonda Cejka, Amy Hayduk; and her grandson, Jonathan Grana, who is stationed oversees with the U.S. Navy in Bahran; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin NeSmith and her daughter, Tonya. Private services to be held at a later date.
