Clarence’s Obituary Clarence Edwin Copeland III, 64, of Baytown, Texas, formerly of Pasadena and Deer Park passed away on Tuesday May 19, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his parents: Clarence Jr. & Mary Helen Copeland, Brother; Joe Paul Copeland and Nephew; Cody Lee Copeland. Clarence graduated from Pasadena High School in 1974. He was well known up and down the ship channel for his welding, X-rays of his welds were no issue, he was so proud to brag about that. He was currently employed by Powell for 16 years and was a member of the Pasadena Masonic Lodge #1155 for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching nascar races, and enjoyed cooking outdoors. Clarence is survived by his son; Clarence Edwin Copeland IV and wife Alexa; daughter and son-in-law Chelsea and Tucker Wakeland; Brother Steven Wayne Copeland; Sister-in-law Fawn Copeland; Niece Kayla and Josh Jones; Nephew Caleb James Copeland; Grandsons Ricky Wylder Copeland, Rhett Sawyer Wakeland, Lyle Dean Wakeland, Great Nieces Layla Grace Copeland, Khloe Elizabeth Jones, Great Nephews Joe Paul Copeland II and sister Emma, Jase Charles Dean Jones, Aunts Robbie and James Kay, Dottie Currie, Uncles George and Beverly Currie, Frank Currie, and numerous other loving relatives and great friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 26, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM in the chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors with a celebration of life on Wednesday May 27, 2020 at 10 AM in the chapel.
