Catherine M. Maggi (nee Mehl) May 25, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Catherine M. Mehl Maggi, 82, of Ridley Park died May 25, 2020 at her home. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mae Nonnamaker Mehl and moved to her late residence 47 years ago. Catherine was employed at Taylor Hospital in the Admissions Registration Office for 32 years before retiring in 2013. She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline and was devoted to her faith and caring for her family. Catherine enjoyed traveling and spending time in Wildwood, NJ. She loved the South Philly traditions and the Mummers. Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Maggi, Jr. and sister of the late Evelyn Madora, Harriet Collier, Betty Frey, Joseph Mehl and Howard Mehl. She was the loving mother of Charles J. Maggi, III (Late Denise), Denise Maggi Gricco (Carmen) and Sandra Maggi Ventura (Tony); sister of William Mehl (Jean); also, survived by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
