Obituary Brenda Carol Hebert Rhode, 75 years old, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2020. She entered this world on August 16, 1944, born to Laura and Nelson Hebert, in Baton Rouge, LA. She retired from AT&T after many loyal years. She was known for her tenacity and ability to overcome obstacles. Brenda was a model for everyone that knew her. She overcame the struggles of life and raised a family that knew they were loved through service and putting them above herself. She enjoyed being at and a part of her children’s weddings. Brenda is survived by her loving daughter, Teresa Rhode Cambre, and husband John; son, George Vee Rhode, Jr. and his wife, Angela; and 4 grandchildren, Jared Cambre and Jordan Cambre, Trace Rhode and Jacob Rhode. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Nelson J. Hebert; and mother, Laura Mae Lindsay Hebert. Due to Covid-19 a private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020, officiated by Reverend Jay Avance at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
