Billy’s Obituary Billy Wayne Atkins, 52 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. There will be a family graveside service, Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Friends may view the service online the following day. Mr. Atkins was born February 2, 1968, to the late Vivie Villa “Bill” and Martha Adele Butler Atkins in Columbus, MS, and worked as a painter. He attended Living Faith Tabernacle, Columbus, MS. Mr. Atkins loved football and keeping up with sports, especially Mississippi State teams. He loved fishing and going on hunting trips. Mr. Atkins is survived by his wife Margaret “Maggie” Swindoll Atkins, Columbus, MS; daughter – Natasha (R.D.) House, sons – Corey Perrigin and John Michael Perrigin, grandchildren – Elisha Perrigin, Brensyn House and Shyenne House, brothers – Steve Delk, Bruce Delk, and Glenn Delk; and sister – Beverly Cox. Pallbearers will be Josh Delk, John Delk, Carlos Flake, Jamie Flake, RD House, Homer Humphries, Corey Perrigin, John Michael Perrigin, Shawn Bullock, Jeffrey Bullock, and Austin Cox.
