Annie’s Obituary Age 78, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab in Westland, MI surrounded by her family. She was born July 19, 1941 in Mt. Olive, MS. She was a foster parent for twenty years and then worked in direct care. She currently works for community homes in Milan and for the past twelve years, worked at Ordono House. She was married to Harie McKinney and he preceded her in death in 2016. Ann was saved at Messias Temple and was currently a member. She worked in the kitchen at the church and served on the missionary board. Ann enjoyed caring for children and people in general. Survivors include: three children, Ron Caldwell, John (Janet) Caldwell and Gwendolyn Caldwell, all of Ypsilanti; four grandchildren, Victor, Darry Jr., Nicole and Tanishalyn Caldwell; four great grandchildren, Xavier, Nora, Ely and Corinne; two goddaughters, Tonya Whitfield and Ashanty Smith; and several other family members and church family. In addition to her husband Harie, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Caldwell, her parents, her uncle Herman who taught her how to drive and her aunt EthaRay McGee, her favorite aunt who lived in Chicago and who Ann would visit every holiday to eat her good cooking.
