Janie, 71 of Northampton, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Gracedale. She was born on November 4, 1948 in Fountain Hill, a daughter of the late James and Rosemary (Shields) Janie. Anita was employed at Mary MacIntosh and Fashion Bug for many years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Coplay. Survivors: Anita is survived by her cousins, Gloria Sprankle and Edward Shields. Brothers, Edward, and Cornelius preceded Anita in death. Services: Private services will be under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Anita.
